Flags Addon

Image
This addon brings a bunch of flags to the game. It is the shulker which is replaced and as a result you might find some random flags spawning in the End. The flags can also be spawned in creative mode in the Overworld and they are great to use as decorations. But since there are just 16 dyes there is also a limited amount of flag types. How does it work? The shulker is replaced by a blank canvas flag. It’s easiest to use a spawn egg to spawn some flags (also known as shulkers). You can use any of the existing dyes to turn it into a normal flags. Most of them are country flags but there are also some based on avatars.  Hold any type of dye and long press on a flag to change it. Here are the flags added in the latest update: Brazil, Spain, MCPE DL. That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.  – Neil Armstrong, The Moon Landing, 20 July, 1969. Gorillas Add-on

Image
This addon replaces creepers with gorillas. The young ones are absolutely adorable and it’s hard to resist getting one as a pet. Not only do they look cute but they will also protect you once they’ve grown up. Humans are very closely related to gorillas so I suppose it’s natural we’ve got a soft spot for them. How to tame a gorilla? You can tame a baby gorilla by feeding it some melons. Adult gorillas will naturally protect their babies if you get too close so it’s a little bit tricky to actually tame one (unless of course you don’t mind getting a huge gorilla to chase after you).  Hold a melon, long press on the gorilla and press tame Once tamed it will by default follow you around. A baby gorilla is harmless and will never attack anything. You can accelerate the growth progress by feeding it more melons. As soon as the gorilla has reached an older age and become a full sized gorilla then it will protect you against hostile mobs and f...

The Human Addon (1.1.0.8 Only!)

Image
The Human Addon turns some of the previous hostile mobs into humans who are now on the players side. This means that they will protect players instead of trying to harm them. This is their default behavior and as a result there is no taming involved. If one of these humans notice that a player is in danger, maybe getting attacked by a zombie, then they will come to their assistance. How does it work? All of the human mobs have the same powers as before. The main difference is that they are no longer hostile toward players as they will not try to help them instead of attacking them. They also have new textures and look more like humans. The Human Summoner  (replaces Evoker) has a few different types of attacks and some of which include fang attacks and summoning fairies. The Fairy  (replaces Vex) is a small, flying human (somewhat similar to an angel) which can be summoned by The Human Summoner. The Alch...

Star Wars Add-on

Image
The  Star Wars Add-on  adds three droids (with custom sounds), a Jedi robe, lightsabers and a couple of other items to Minecraft Pocket Edition. R2-D2 and BB-8 are two of the droids which you will be able to tame and keep as loyal companions on your next adventures. But be careful. There are evil droids out there which have been programmed to kill you and your droid friends. This add-on is a must-play for anyone who like the Star Wars movies! Droids R2-D2  (replaces spider)   is a small astromech droid with a few different utilities. Its main and most effective ability is to protect its owner from aggressors by shooting lasers at them. It also has a storage container (5 slots) which the player can use for storing blocks and items. The droid is neutral by default and you can tame it with some redstone.  Long press on the droid and press  Tame As soon as it is tamed it will follow you around. A tamed droid is on a constant ...

Tiger Add-on

Image
Tigers are beautiful animals in real life which now also can exist in your Minecraft worlds. At the same time that they add another threat your environment, it also comes with some positives. For example, you can tame a tiger and keep it as your loyal pet. It will follow you around and protect you against any threats. How to tame a tiger? You can tame a tiger to be your obedient pet, but you can only tame babies. It behaves very similar to a wolf except that it will be more aggressively spontaneous so be careful if you want to avoid deadly accidents. (Feed it more meat to accelerate the growth progress. It replaces pigs.) But for the most part you will notice multiple benefits of owning a tiger. For example, it will always attack anything that you are attacking such as spiders. Keep your tamed tiger well fed! If not, it might attack your livestock such as sheep or cows. You have to remember that this is a wild animal and it has pri...
